Our niche as website designers and developers is in the options we give you, the business person and visionary to manage and have others manage your website, online shop, content and web-business with you. We give you the option to allow, deny and note changes or additions to your website others make.
Two projects, both completed in 2008 are excellent examples of websites presenting news, seminars, reviews and forums that have up to 15 people working on the site managing, updating and creating daily.
Superfuture.com
Started in 2001 the superfuture website combines detailed city and area maps with reviews of shops, cafes, clubs and other types of establishments with an online shop, forum and global fashion, shop and events news.
The management of this website is undertaken by groups of 'editors' who each manage sections of the site and who are given different responsibilities. For example, an editor who can update shop reviews is not allowed to delete the review until other editors agree and allow the deletion. With over 4,000 reviews on the website this level of management becomes very important for everyone to work together, globally.
Notes :
• Usable by numbers of editors in each section of website
• Staff unable to add live review until approved by manager
• Other editors able to review and note each others changes
• Editors can upload images and map content to website
• Forum managed and moderated by multiple levels of moderators who each answer to a manager
Business-galaxy.jp
Entirely in Japanese the Business Galaxy website is designed to give differing levels of management to staff who work with the websites seminar promotions. One staff member may be able to add a seminar but not delete it until the deletion has been approved.
Notes :
• Usable by numbers of staff
• Staff unable to delete until manager approves
• Other editors able to review and note each others changes
